August BBQ Sale

Saturday August 23rd from 10AM - 5PM

Midway will be hosting our famous Lexington style smoked chopped BBQ. We will be raising money for the building maintenance (Trustees) savings fund.

About the BBQ Master: Ronnie McDaniel of Rockwell, NC has graciously offered to come to Kannapolis and bring his custom-made slow cooker to teach and help prepare the BBQ as he has for decades.  Ronnie built this cooker over 25 years ago for the purpose of helping churches raise funds while providing the best BBQ possible.  We will be preparing 16 Boston butts and after 12 hours of slow smoking, then chopping and serving the BBQ on a bun with red slaw. Chips, drinks and other baked goods will also be available for purchase during the event.  We will have the parking setup for drive thru service as well as have the Fellowship Hall open for dining and other opportunities. ​

During the event we'll also be hosting a bake sale in our fellowship hall.
